Week of 5/18/20
This week we are going to explore one of my favorite ways to learn new things: podcasts!
Podcasts are recordings that you can listen to. Sometimes they are about a specific topic, or just general current events, or sometimes they answer listener questions. When deciding to listen to a podcast, always check with your teacher or parents first to make sure it is appropriate. You can also check to make sure the podcast creator is credible by looking at their website to see how they get their information. Are they from a news organization, college or university, or government agency? Then they are most likely credible. If no information about their expertise is available, be cautious. Please check out some of these and let me know what you think in Google Classroom or on SeeSaw. You can find a complete list of podcasts here. Please follow the age recommendations and check with your parents before listening to new podcasts.
But Why? (Hosts answer kids' questions)
